Came for dinner on Sunday night at 7ish. The restaurant was slightly packed but we were seated immediately. There were 3 servers working nonstop, so it took a bit of wait for them to notice that we were ready to order, but not a problem given how busy they were. *Food: we ordered 5 dishes: - French style filet mignon: 8/10. Beef is very tender and well seasoned, would be perfect if there were more meat lol. - Ginger Scallion chicken: 10/10. Chicken is tender, juicy, ginger-y, flavorful. It tastes even better when we left it in the fridge overnight as the chicken is soaked in the sauce which gives it a flavor boost. Must order! - Steamed rice noodle roll with leek and shrimp: 6/10. It tasted ok, not too bad but not too good. I had better rice roll at other places. - Seafood with crispy noodles: 6/10. Similar to the rice rolls, tasted ok-ish. it looked appealing but to be honest it kinda lacked some flavor. - String bean with eggplants in X.O sauce: 10/10. Savory, well seasoned, super flavorful, not too salty, generous portion, perfect with rice. I'd definitely order this again. Our food were served very fast and came with free rice. They even refilled the rice when it was almost empty. Food also has generous portion; I'd say our order could easily feed 6 people. There was plenty of food left that we could take home. *Ambience: the inside is very spacious, booth seating is large and comfy. Typical Hongkong styled interior which is cool. *Service: not the most friendly service but they were fast and helpful. I spilled water on table and they quickly helped me cleaned up. One of my order was served wrong but they remade it right away. I think service is pretty neat. Overall I highly recommend this place. Great place for family dinner or quick bite. Some dishes, like the crispy noodle, were not to my liking but that's just me. I saw other tables ordered it so it just comes down to taste preference. I'd definitely come back and try more dish.

Coming from a late Sunday for comfort food. We ordered beef chowfun kumpao chicken ohhh so tender and super tasty and handmade rice paper with shrimp. Everything came out super fast , hot and delicious. The service is above and beyond

Is this the greatest tasting food? No. But is it a big portion for a good price, with reasonable taste? Absolutely. Service is brusque, but friendly, and food always comes out hot and fast. And the best part is they have kaya toast!

Yep! We were back for breakfast and again, it did not disappoint. Just an FYI...when ordering item letter D on the breakfast menu, the Luncheon Macaroni is a soup, not salad...just in case if you are not aware of it, because we thought it was a salad (lol). Anyways, it tasted like between Won Ton Soup/Chicken Noodle Soup but with Macaroni noodle. I ordered almost the same, letter A on breakfast menu, only slightly different is I picked Steamed Rice Noodle Roll with Dry Shrimp, and I loved it...because it adds a teeny bit of sweetness to it. Again...Service is great and love the vibe here!!

I came here to pick up a couple dishes for my eldest daughter. I walked in to a full house of customers. It has the feel of being in a Hong Kong restaurant. I think the decor gives it that impression. Anyway, I was greeted right away by a nice gentleman who eventually took my order. I have dined here and did take-out once before but didn't do a review until now. I got our favorites... honey glazed pork chop and string beans + eggplant with XO sauce. It was so hot outside I had to also get an ice cold drink. Red bean ice with vanilla ice cream is my favorite, but unfortunately, they ran out of ice cream so just red bean ice had to do. Both dishes were very delicious. You can't go wrong with them. Red bean ice was sweet and refreshing. Must get every time!!! Staff was really nice. I have to say... service has been quite impressive from Chinese restaurants lately. Thank you All! I will definitely be a regular customer when I'm in the Rowland Heights area. Btw, they do have another location in San Gabriel. Thank you Tam's Noodle House!!!

Very solid hk cafe! We came around 12pm on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. We luckily didn't have to wait cause there was a table that just opened. The decor and space here gives me very nostalgic hk vibes! We ordered the stir fry beef noodles, salt & pepper squid, and the beef churn fun. I was more eager about the churn fun, which it was pretty good! The other items were also very solid, but the salt and pepper squid is a bit too oily for me. My bf loves it all tho lol Loved how one of the waiter/server is so cheery! You can tell he loves his job haha

I have not been to a Hong Kong cafe in a long time. I miss these cafes since they have a little of everything. The ambience is like that of a Hong Kong style cafe and much cleaner, I would say almost comparable to what you get in Hong Kong especially hearing all the Cantonese. I want to order everything on the menu, but we settled for Hk style pineapple bun with butter (but he forgot it, and we cancelled it), water spinach with shredded chili and fermented tofu, scallop congee, century egg & pork congee, steamed rice noodle rolls, hot Hk milk tea, deep fried dough sticks, fish filet in corn sauce, & steamed rice noodle roll stir fried. Everything was good and the service was fast. Loved that the staff was friendly and fun. The other waiter had pineapple buns he walked toward us like he was serving us, but he was like nope not yours.

Love that there's an afternoon menu with specials everyday (including weekends) from 3-5! Came on a Sunday afternoon around 4 pm and there were about 4-5 other tables. We ordered the: -steamed Shrimp Rice Noodles ($6.99) - if you've ever been to NYC, it was like Toni's rice roll style. Soft, silky and slurpable -steamed rice roll with special sauce ($5.99) - peanut sauce and hoisin sauce, delicious! -curry with fishballs ($9.99) came with hot milk tea or regular tea included in the meal set -wonton soup ($10.99) - was hoping it'd have more flavor. Soup had more flavor than the actual wontons. Still trying to find a place like NYC's 大王 Service was fast and efficient. Ambience is like that of a HK style cafe, pretty comparable to what you get in Hong Kong itself

This place serves all of my favorite Chinese comfort food in the area, and that says a lot since we're in the SGV! The place is full of locals and everyone who loves authentic Chinese food so that validates everything for me. The salted fish chicken fried rice, chow fun, and the steamed rice rolls were all top tier. Portions are big and perfect for sharing and flavors were amazing! Prices were also good for what you're getting and I know I'll be coming back when I want some more comfort food. Best of all, their table mats are decked out with local Chinese lawyer ads, which were the stamp of approval for good authentic food for me.
